Shetland trad with Neill Hall at Cavan County Museum

Neill Hall

Shetland Islands folk musician Neill Hall will perform a special NYAH Comhaltas concert at Cavan County Museum Ballyjamesduff on Sunday, 23 July at 3pm.

Neill, who sings and plays the octave mandolin, has played and toured for many years with the Shetland Fiddlers and was a founder member of Square Da Mizzen. After the performance, he will give a talk on the sorties and songs of the Shetland Islands.

This promises to be a wondrous night, where Shetlands tunes shall be played and some new tunes learned, as Neill will be joined by special guests including All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil Champions Michael Curran (accordion) and Cathal Lynch (vocals) along with members of the NYAH Cavan Comhaltas Seisiún Show.

All are welcome.
