‘All the Town’s a Stage’ at Ramor Theatre

Presented by Ramor Playwrighting Group, experience Virginia like never before in 'All the Town's a Stage'  on Friday, 23 February. Places you pass every day, spaces you don't notice, others you haven't entered before. A series of short site-specific plays will be performed around Virginia under Ramor Theatre's New Writing Programme. Audiences will move from site to site, enthralled, enchanted and entertained.

These plays are a culmination of work over the past few months of Ramor Playwrighting Group in association by Ramor Theatre and Cavan County Council to nurture and develop new and emerging writers within the county.

There are seven plays by six local writers from Ramor Playwrighting Group, GRAVIS and JOAN’S STORY by Freda Donoghue; TINKERING ABOUT by Liz O’Hanlon; BALOR’S DAUGHTER by Patrick O’Brien; THE HOUSE by Elish Beglan; ETERNITY’S SUNRISE by Rory O’Connell, and MAEVE’S SEARCH by Ciara Cassoni.

The audience will meet in The Ramor Theatre at 8 o’clock and will then be brought by an usher from location to location around the town experiencing a new original ten-minute play in a unique site specific space for which each play was written.

All the plays will be performed by well know local actors including: Dara Smith, Mary MacDonagh, Charlene Cadden, Leanne Monaghan, Eddie Brady, Cyril Keegan, Irene Yore, Trina McCann, Peter Cooney, Julie Ann McKiernan, Liz O’Hanlon, Ciara Cassoni, Kieran Rushe, Imelda Donoghue, Megan Comaskey and Charlie Halton.

Come and join us to experience your town in a completely different way. Audience numbers will be limited so booking is advised on 049 8547074 or www.ramortheatre.com  Admission: €15. Showtime: 8pm
