Summer Festivals in Cavan

3 - 6th August. Bawnboy Community Festival. Enjoy a packed weekend of family fun and heritage activities in Bawnboy, a historic little village in West Cavan in the heart of the Global Geopark.

3 - 6th August. Belturbet Festival of the Erne. Four days of packed family fun from Junior Golf, quizes, historical walks, treasure hunts,  giant outdoor games zone, 'farmers and fairies kids tractor run' street theatre, funday and parade. Follow on facebook 

Saturday 4th August. Ballyconnell Fair Day. From 12pm visit the stands with food, handcrafted goods, homegrown fruit and veg, toys and games, local products and bargains from the car-boot sale!  FREE Kids zone with bouncy castle, face painting, arts and crafts and a Ground Graffiti competition– decorate the carpark with chalk and see who gets the prize! 11 - 12th August Taste of Cavan Food Festival. The food festival of the summer takes place once again in Cavan. Join chefs Neven Maguire, Richard Corrigan, Rachel Allen, Georoid Lynch and lots more for two days of food, fun, masterclasses, food, drink and craft exhibitors and plenty of fun activities for children. Adm:€7 and kids go free.

21 - 26th August Cootehill Arts Festival. Cootehill Arts Festival 2018 will feature the Glen Hansard, Footsbarn Theatre, the 'Culture Vultures' pop culture salon event and much more.
