Bernard's great grandfather Michael Fitzpatrick left Derravona, Butlersbridge for Australia in 1882 in search of gold.  Bernard has returned to a farmstead in Derravona, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan, the place of his great-grandfather's birth.
